Not sure which lift will suit your home?

Make Life Easier With a Beautifully Designed Home Lift

A home lift makes moving between levels easier without requiring major changes to your home. It can be installed within its own solid or glass shaft, or fitted into a blockwork shaft included in your building plans.

With minimal space and building work required, a lift can often fit within a stairwell void, living area corner or external wall recess. Options include enclosed platform lifts, cabin lifts and wheelchair-accessible open platform lifts for safe, step-free access.

Sizes, Space and What Your Home Needs

The first question almost everyone asks is whether there is room, and in most two-storey homes, there is. The footprint is closer to a large cupboard than a stairwell. What decides it is platform size, the number of landings, and where the lift can find a structural wall.

If you would rather work it out yourself first, the home lift cost calculator and the Lift Buyer’s Guide both walk through sizing and site requirements before you speak to anyone.

Residential Lift Installation, Step by Step

Our in house team manages the whole lifecycle — design, supply, installation and maintenance across NSW and the ACT.

Tell us the house, the levels and what you are trying to solve. We will tell you honestly whether a lift is the right answer.
A lift consultant comes to you, measures the space and walks through which models genuinely fit.
A bespoke design for your home, with a written proposal, a fixed price and the list of building works.
Once the design is signed off, your builder and electrician complete the site works to that list.

On-site installation takes one to five days depending on the model and the number of landings.

Training on operation and safety features, user manuals, and your servicing schedule.

Annual servicing, service reminders, and 24/7 emergency support for lifts we have supplied.

What a Home Lift Costs

Pricing is project-specific, but the starting points are published rather than hidden. Open platform lifts start from $26,000, enclosed platform lifts from $51,000 and enclosed cabin lifts from $55,000. Servicing starts from $325 a year.

What moves a project up from those figures is model choice, travel height and landings, glass versus solid panels, finishes, and how much building work the site needs. Every quote is fixed price, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.

For a full breakdown of what sits inside a lift price, read the national home lift pricing guide. For local figures, how much domestic lifts cost for Illawarra homes covers the same ground with regional costs.

Where We Install Home Lifts

Our design studio and workshop is at Albion Park Rail, with a service technician based at Moss Vale — which is what lets us get to a lift quickly rather than scheduling a trip.

Illawarra: Illawarra · Wollongong · Corrimal · Albion Park · Shellharbour · Calderwood · Shell Cove · Kiama · Kiama Downs & Minnamurra · Thirroul, Bulli & Stanwell Park

Shoalhaven and South Coast: Nowra · Berry · Gerringong · Jervis Bay · Mollymook & Milton · South Coast · Narooma · Sapphire Coast

Southern Highlands and ACT: Bowral · Canberra · Newcastle

Beyond single homes, we also supply commercial lifts for offices, childcare centres and small fit-outs, and lifts for duplexes and medium-density projects through the Duplex Hub. Wheelchair and mobility access, including NDIS-related enquiries, is covered on our NDIS and accessibility page, or see our dedicated wheelchair lifts range for the models themselves.

Servicing and Maintenance

A home lift is a mechanical asset in daily use, and an annual service keeps it quiet, safe and covered. Each service covers mechanical inspection, safety checks and any adjustment or lubrication needed, and we let you know when yours falls due.

Every lift we supply carries a two-year warranty and 24/7 emergency support. One honest limitation: we only service lifts we have supplied, so we cannot take on another supplier’s equipment. Details are on our lift servicing and maintenance page.

Home Lift Frequently Asked Questions

Enclosed platform lifts, enclosed cabin lifts, open platform lifts and wheelchair-accessible models. Enclosed lifts come with their own shaft in solid panels or glass, or can be installed into an existing blockwork shaft. Open platform lifts suit shorter travel and step-free entry access.

Open platform lifts start from $26,000, enclosed platform lifts from $51,000 and enclosed cabin lifts from $55,000. The final figure depends on the model, travel height, number of landings, finishes and the building work your site needs. Every quote is fixed price.

Less than most people expect. Enclosed models need a pit of 50–100mm and one structural wall to fix to, plus clear floor space at each landing. There is no machine room, because the drive is mounted on the lift itself.

A platform lift travels as an L-shaped platform within an enclosed lift well. A cabin lift is a fully enclosed cabin and can be installed into an existing shaft, which makes it the more common choice for new builds.

Yes. Every lift meets Australian Standards for safety and operation, with emergency stop, battery backup that lowers the lift to the nearest landing in a power failure, and an emergency phone line on enclosed models.

Annually. A service covers mechanical inspection, safety checks and any adjustment or lubrication needed, from $325 a year. We only service lifts we have supplied, and those lifts also get 24/7 emergency support.

Yes — retrofits are a large part of what we do. A consultant assesses the space on site and identifies which models fit.
